Golf Academy surveyed 1,200 amateur golfers across 40 countries. The result? 73% lowered their handicap faster when they stopped chasing perfect swing mechanics and started focusing on course management, pre-shot routines, and feel-based practice.

Golf psychology matters more than most realize. Players who tracked fairways hit, greens in regulation, and putts per round improved by 4.2 strokes on average. Those who only practiced swing drills improved just 0.7 strokes.
