Yamaha has always gone above and beyond to make their customer’s riding experience a lot more enjoyable and safe. Yamaha keeps on introducing new and updated versions of their vehicle to keep up with the trend.
The Yamaha MT-15 has finally received some bling. While this was appropriate for a specific international bike, Yamaha India opted for a telescopic fork to control costs.
The addition of the USD fork not only increases its visual quotient, but also improves the new Yamaha MT-15’s handling dynamics too. Further improving its handling is the inclusion of the premium cast aluminum swingarm that replaces the old box-section unit seen on its predecessor.

The style of the vehicle remains same as the old one and retains the single-pod projector-style headlight with twin DRLs at the front, muscular fuel tank, step-up seat, and a flat handlebar. The new model benefits from an updated color palette that includes two new and two existing paint options. These include Sion Storm (new), Racing Blue (new), Ice Flu-Vermilion and Metallic Black.Â
Features of yamaha mt 15 2022
The new MT-15 lacks some of the key features available on its full sibling, the YZF-R15 V4. However, the cockpit gets an upgrade in the form of a Bluetooth instrument cluster that connects to the smartphone and works with the Y-Connect app. All of this gives you access to a lot of things like maintenance recommendations, parking location, fuel consumption, malfunctions, revs dashboard, and ranking on the smartphone. The dashboard, on the other hand, displays call, e-mail, and SMS alerts and the phone battery status.Â

The engine retains VVA or variable valve actuation technology and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.Â

The safety grille, unlike the YZF-R15 V4.0, incorporates single-channel ABS, while the braking functions are handled by individual discs on both wheels.
